FIELD DAY INFORMATION for Friday April 7th
Dear Trivium Families,
This Friday, April 7th, is field day for all Trivium Prep scholars. This means that for part of the day we will be canceling classes and engaging in healthy outdoor competition. We are combining field day with our ongoing house competitions, therefore this year our scholars will compete as houses and chapters and not in special teams as in years past.
We are going to split our field day into two parts. In the morning, grades 5-7, and the high school chapter leaders, will be competing in games and competitions and then they will attend regular classes in the afternoon. One important tradition of field day is inviting our rising 5th grade scholars from both Archways East and West to join us. We look forward to that again this year. Grades 8-12 will go to regular classes in the morning, and then have games and competitions in the afternoon. We are taking the opportunity to have our rising 8th graders participate with their future high school colleagues.
All scholars are invited to come to school Friday in comfortable athletic clothing. We do request that clothing choices conform to the expectations for outdoor field day attire on page 56 of our family hand book. We also request that scholars come wearing at least one article of clothing in their house colors (see below).
There is one more special offer to remind you about. Our junior class is raising money for next year’s senior trip and they are taking pre-orders of pizza for lunch on Friday. Lunch time will be from 10:45-11:10am for grades 5-8 and 11:45am-12:10pm for grades 9-12. Here is a link for ordering pizza:
